Belly Casting

I want to purchase my belly cast/mold kit in the next week or so.  I have looked at so many of them over and over.  Wondering if any of you who have done belly casts before might have suggestions on which brand to purchase???

I have four casts and did each differently.

The first I went to a medical supply store and got casting material...that was the least expensive.

The second and third were from www.earthybabes.com

The fourth was kit I found at Berlington Coat Factory.

They all were pretty much the same thing. And if you find out that you are making a cast too thin...just go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a plaster of Paris box and use that to reinforce the cast.

I actually just posted about this today because another friend asked me to paint her cast.

I hope that helps...

Someone gave me one from Casting Keepsakes (castingkeepsakes.com) and it worked well for me to do Carleigh's belly cast. There was plenty of strips in the kit.
